Gps Hardware Requirements

Almost any modern gps will work. You need a gps that contains "data logging" capability. Any Gps that can output it's track in GPX, KML, NMEA, CSV, or VCC format will work with visualSail. Gps Loggers that log at a rate of once per second (1hz) or faster work best.

A good source for Gps Data Loggers is Semsons. They have many different units, most of which should work just fine, though I have not tested them.
